In the relatively short time since opening his first studio in 1980, Stephen Webster has won multiple international accolades for his innovative and cutting edge creations. Webster grew up near London, where he took an early interest in jewelry design and metalwork, beginning his training at just 16 years old. Webster takes inspiration from a variety of sources in creating his bold and edgy designs. His “Femme Fatale” collection takes from the alluring actresses of the 1940s Film Noire, with all pieces crafted in a black and white color scheme of platinum, white gold, and web cut black sapphires and white diamonds. Webster’s popular “Rose and Thorn” collection is based on a tattoo design, and in it Webster brings back the classic rose cut. His “Russian Roulette” collection features gemstones cut in the shape of faceted bullets. Webster’s fans include an extensive list of celebrities including Sienna Miller, Pink, Sandra Oh, Jennifer Lopez, Elton John, Nicholas Cage, Kate Moss, Christina Aguilera and Elizabeth Taylor. Madonna, in fact, commissioned Webster to create her wedding ring. His spectacular designs have earned him a series of awards including the “Tahitian Pearl Trophy,” the “De Beers Diamonds Today” award, and multiple wins of both “Luxury Jeweller of the Year” and “Jewellery Designer of the Year” in the UK. Be a trendsetter and dare to be different with one of Webster’s creations!
