French jeweler, Jean Vitau, founded Gemlok (formerly Gemveto), after gaining popularity for his Gemlok eternity band setting. He was a major supplier to Tiffany & Co., becoming their number one selling wedding band. Vitau also created jewelry under his Jean Vitau collection which mainly focused on brooches in pendants inspired by nature.
