A sweet design by Van Cleef and Arpels NY, this diamond and ruby compact box is a wonderful example of vintage femininity. THe high polish yellow gold rectangle features a natural scene on top, whimsically engraved with fluttering leaves and swirling branches, with diamond and ruby accents shimmering in bezel settings. The interior features a closed compartment which once held a lady's powder.
