The 8.17 carat Asscher-cut yellow diamond prong-set in 18k yellow gold, with trapezoid diamond side stones weighing 1.30 carats, in a platinum mounting. Accompanied by a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) report stating that the Asscher-cut diamond is Fancy Intense Yellow Natural in color, VS-2 clarity. The color grade of white diamonds is determined by absence of, or the amount of, yellow tint or other modifying colors. The highest grade white diamonds are crystal-clear, pure white stones. The color grade is measured on an alphabetical chart starting with "D" (colorless) and running through "Z" (light color).
